Our Channel Partners Have Now Been Appointed
You can meet our Channel Partners by reading all about them. Many thanks for all those who expressed an interest in becoming a part of Writing for All. We hope we can collaborate with you in future.
Do you want to help make Writing for All a success? Become one of our channel partners!
We are looking for creative organisations and individuals to help make Writing for All a success.
What are we looking for?
People and organisations to work on Paper Nations’ Writing for All programme to provide opportunities for writers to develop or showcase their work. We are looking for local, national, and international channel partners of any age, experience, gender, race, education, or ability.
If you believe in innovation and diversity-- join us! Partners may be writers, creatives, or educators with an established project or community group –or perhaps industry creatives, publishers, producers, agents, promoters, booksellers, industry organisations, venues, or companies.
To make lasting change, we need help from people who want to work with us to find new audiences, build markets, and create publishing opportunities for writers; people who share our vision of creating an inclusive writing ecology.
What will channel partners do?
Partnerships will be mutually-beneficial relationships, supporting Writing for All. They will take on a number of forms, and will be tailored to each individual or organisation.
Examples of channel partner activities:
- Sharing the word about each others’ activities, enabling both parties to reach new audiences.
- Hosting and/or co-producing events or providing publishing opportunities.
- Facilitating new links between existing writing projects, individuals, or organisations to help them flourish.
- Providing publishing and touring opportunities.
- Developing local listings of events available for writers.
- Something entirely new - pitch your idea for a partnership with us!
There is no direct funding for becoming a channel partner - the idea is that we pool our resources so that we can do more together. Head to our Channel Partners page to read about past and present channel partners.
Why become a channel partner?
Becoming a channel partner will give you experience of working on a major Arts Council England-funded programme which supports and nurtures the growth of the writing ecology in the South-West. You will have the opportunity to network with local and national writing representatives, develop your own professional experience, and be part of making writing more accessible to everyone.
What next?
To register your interest in becoming a channel partner, complete an Expression of Interest form before Friday 6th September. We will read through all applications and will be in contact via email to continue developing ideas for potential partnerships.
