Paper Nations is inviting organisations and individuals in Corsham, Wiltshire to apply for two opportunities with Corsham Town Council’s StoryTown Festival, part of Dare to Write? Corsham.
The two opportunities available are
- To develop workshops and activities to encourage children to explore the art of writing in an imaginative and innovative way.
- The position of Corsham StoryTown Co-ordinator
Dare to Write? Corsham will see the Corsham community come together throughout the year to celebrate the art of writing in a playful and explorative way, with events drawing on the core eight activities of Dare to Write?. Following a series of similar pilot programmes in Bath, Frome and Chew Stoke, Dare to Write? Corsham is part of our wider Writing Destinations scheme which offers a badge of affiliation to local communities and venues that champion creative approaches to writing.
As part of our commitment to furthering existing activity in the Corsham area, we are offering co-production support to writing activities for young people that can take place in the area before or during Corsham StoryTown. Running from 19-21 October, Corsham StoryTown is a family festival of stories, books, performance, exhibitions, workshops and more, aiming to utilise Corsham’s heritage, creativity and technological prowess to create an exciting cultural festival celebrating the town.
How can I apply?
We are inviting applications up until Wednesday 18 July 2018. To start the process of application, please contact us as writers@papernations.org for a Project Pitch form.
