Paper Nations is looking for published creative writers to take part in our pilot creative writing tutor scheme. You may be a published poet, novelist or non-fiction writer with an interest in working as an associate writer in one or more of our partner schools.
Our associate writers will:
- Plan and deliver workshops to small groups of young people in schools.
- Develop children’s appreciation of creative writing as an art form.
- Help teachers to develop creative writing lesson plans.
- Design and deliver innovative creative writing programmes.
A range of opportunities are available for our associate writers. We can provide expert training in the craft of teaching creative writing and mentoring to enable you to set up and sustain a small business. If you have an idea for a project and have a school on board, we may even be able to provide up to 75% of costs.
This is an opportunity to be part of the Paper Nations community.
Please fill in this quick form, or email an expression of interest to the creative writing team at info@papernations.org
Please note:
All expressions of interest will be kept in the Paper Nations database. We may share your details with partner schools and teachers. Once you have registered your interest on the database, we may contact you from time to time with offers and opportunities.
