Calling writers of all ages. If you could do anything, what would you get up to?

‘If Only I Could…’ is a free writing competition – with great prizes – run by the StoryTown Corsham festival. The aim of the competition is to get people thinking about endless possibilities, the fantastical and, perhaps, out of reach – and there is no better time to escape from reality than during a global pandemic.

For more details, please read this flyer. We look forward to your entry. The deadline is Sunday 30th August.

The StoryTown festival is now in its third year. StoryTown is a year-round celebration, largely focused on writing but also other art forms, which culminates in a weekend of events 16th-18th October in Corsham, a small market town in Wiltshire. Since its inception in 2018, the purpose has been to celebrate writing in all its forms – and to put Corsham on the writing map. The festival is a collaboration between Corsham Town Council and Paper Nations.
